Paula Creamer was born on 5th August, 1986 in America. This ace golf player is fondly known as “Pink Panther”. She plays on US based Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. She is one of the assets of American sports fraternity winning 10 tournaments in four seasons including 8 LPGA Tour events. According to the rankings she has awarded with the fourth position among all the other women golfers.
Paula Creamer began playing for the LPGA in the 2004 season. In this year she won the Qualifying School Tournament. She won the tournament in 2005 and that made her the youngest player to have won the event. In the same year she won the LPGA Rookie of the Year in Japan. Followed by this she won two events in 2007 and four events in 2008.
Paula Creamer’s claim to fame was the shot in which she holed a seventeen foot birdie putt on the final round of the Sybase Classic in New Rochelle in New York. She won that event by one stroke. On 23rd July she won the second title after winning the Evian Masters tournament in France by an eight-short margin. With that win she also enrolled herself in the list of high earning young players. Paula Creamer was also selected in the Solheim Cup team. She was the youngest player to have been selected for the team. 2007 was a successful year for Creamer since she bounced back by winning the SBS Open at Turtle Bay and the Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions by defeating Birdie Kim.
The year 2008 was a fabulous year for Creamer when her career reached soaring heights. She won all the ongoing events of the year and earned $1.8 million in that season. She won the Fields Open in Hawaii in the month of February and in April she won the SemGroup Championship. She entered the US Women’s Open to win her first major championship. However, she ended up on a tie obtaining the 6th position with another golfer. She stood second at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic when she shot an 11 under 60 at the events. She shot 60-65-70-73 and defeated Nicole Castrale by two strokes. Creamer won her fourth title in October at the Samsung World Championship beating her opponent by one stroke. She was the first American to have won so many titles in one LPGA season.
According to the money list rankings in the world declared on 18th November 2008, Creamer held the 19th position with above $5.7 million in terms of career earnings. She holds the fourth position in world charts of Women’s World Golfers. She holds a record of being the highest money earner as an American LPGA golfer during the seasons of 2005, 2007 and 2008.
This California born talent started playing at a very young age and eventually became one of the most celebrated women golfers in the world. Till 2007 she resided in Isleworth in Florida. All in all she has won 10 professional championships and has not only made America proud but also the Golfer’s fraternity.
